I couldn’t believe someone had written such a harsh and, in my eyes, unfair critique. Sure, my book isn’t the absolute best in its category, but it didn’t deserve a one-star rating filled with such sharp criticism. My first instinct was to fight back. I wanted to report the review and leave an even harsher reply. The urge to defend my work was strong. But I didn’t do it.
